Protein Shake


Because I try to eat something within 30 minutes of getting up in the mornings I have found that I would much rather have a protein shake first thing. 

Here is my recipe:  


300 ml of Rice or Almond milk;

1/3 cup of plain yogurt;

1/2 cup oats; protein powder; sprouts and seeds;

1 tablespoon of cocoa powder;

frozen bananas.




Green Smoothie

Green Smoothies are another great way to get a quick boost of nutrition.  Here is the recipe for the one I make.


300 ml filtered water

1 tbsp yogurt

1 1/2 tbsp MCT oil

1/2 fresh kiwi w/ skin

1/2 wedge of lemon w/ peel

1 cup of Spinach

1 tsp of green superfood powder

1 scoop collagen mix


Frozen strawberry, mango, pineapple mix

Blend for 90 seconds
